Jet Li’s Fearless

So, I went and saw Jet Li’s Fearless last night on the big screen. Anytime one can see a Wushu (or Wuxia) movie on big screen, you should, and this movie is no exception. This movie follows the life of Huo Yuan Jia who is said to be one of the few Chinese who fully understood the true meaning of Wushu. Jet Li picked this movie for his last Wushu film because he felt that he has reached this same level of understanding and wanted to represent it to the world. If you are looking for some more insight to Jet Li’s motivations to make the movie, you can read an interview with the Director Ronny Yu here. This movie gets a ultra high recommendation and something that needs to be seen on the big screen if you can make it out while it’s in US theaters!
